Staff, students and the community take pride in the quality of teaching and learning at Te Puke Primary. Our class sizes are small to ensure that our staff can reach each individual providing them with a personalised education.

Our school curriculum implements the goals and expectations from our schools mission, vision and values. Students needs are identified via a variety of assessment methods. Classroom programmes are developed to ensure that students needs are met via motivating educational programmes. The best interests of the student are at the centre of everything that we do. We ensure that all students have a strong base in literacy and numeracy to enable success in all other learning areas.  In 2010 we have employed a teacher aide to work in all of our junior classes to ensure that all of our children get the best possible start in their first 2 years of education at TPPS. Our curriculum provides students with a balance of skill, strategy, knowledge and values across the learning areas listed below.

We have quality learning facilities. In 2010, all of our classrooms were updated now providing children with access to the latest in Apple Desktop and Laptop technologies. In 2010 we also opened our new E Learning Centre and Performing Arts Centre. These compliment our quality Media Learning Centre.
